Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between Bosch's Logistic Planning group and Assembly and Test subcontractors/foundry suppliers in Asia. This role will be responsible for managing the supply chain in assembly lines, as well as supply management, including loading, delivery fulfillment, and pull-ins. The candidate will also be responsible for managing subcontractors, particularly during critical delivery situations.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Monitor and improve Cycle Time and Material Supportability metrics.
  • Provide timely updates on critical information that may impact Bosch's business, including strikes, accidents, airport closures, and changes in organization.
  • Ensure that all actions requested from subcontractors by Bosch are correctly understood and executed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve work processes and suggest new ways to enhance KPIs of subcontractors.
  • Monitor production lot progress and provide immediate disposition in case of logistic constraints, capacity bottlenecks, or hold lots.
  • Provide short-term support on site in assembly and foundry locations.
  • Regularly visit assembly and foundry partners.
  • Perform additional tasks as per superior instructions.

Requirements
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the logistics industry, preferably in the semiconductor environment. Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Management study. Strong intercultural communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Supply Chain Management, and planning competence. The candidate must be assertive, able to deal with conflicts, and have a high level of leadership for projects and topics. Efficient working candidates with an open mind, change management, and flexibility in taking over responsibilities. Conventional work mode, open to business trips, and able to travel to China and Germany for training.
