Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Financial Operations Associate to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to Partners, Directors, and Managers, as well as undertaking various administrative tasks such as secretarial support, billings, travel bookings, meeting room bookings, and uploading files onto global in-house software.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounts receivables or a similar setting in a professional services environment, preferably with prior knowledge in SAP and Salesforce software. They will also have a proven track record of success in closing outstanding invoices, excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize a voluminous workload and maintain attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative/secretarial support to Partners, Directors, and Managers
  • Undertake various administrative tasks such as secretarial support, billings, travel bookings, meeting room bookings, and uploading files onto global in-house software
  • Process billings and manage the billing process
  • Carry out recovery activities with due diligence within prescribed standard operating procedures to minimize delinquency and ensure compliance with the firm's guidelines
  • Maintain 'live' or up-to-date status reports, and provide the reports to managers upon request
  • Communicate actively with the respective internal stakeholders
  • May be required to prepare simple analytical reports when necessary
  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials and reports
  • Provide status updates on files and track progress using in-house database

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivables or similar setting in a professional services environment preferably
  • Prior knowledge in SAP, Salesforce software will be advantageous
  • Proven track record of success in closing outstanding invoices
  • Comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable with the use of different software in day-to-day activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a voluminous workload
  • Meticulous and excellent attention to detail
