Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our SeaMoney / ShopeePay team as a Business Development Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding partnerships, acquiring new merchants, and driving the adoption of ShopeePay and other fintech solutions.
  • You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop growth strategies and optimize business opportunities in the digital payments and financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new merchants and business partners to expand ShopeePay's acceptance network.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to ensure continued engagement and collaboration.
  • Work with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to design and implement merchant-focused campaigns and promotions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support contract negotiations, deal structuring, and agreement finalization with partners.
  • Assist in planning and executing go-to-market strategies for new fintech products and services.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and generate reports to measure business impact and effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback to product and operations teams to enhance ShopeePay's offerings based on merchant and user needs.
  • Stay updated on digital payment trends, fintech regulations, and industry best practices.
