Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing and managing payroll activities within the organization.

About the Role:

  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • You will work closely with various stakeholders across the business to resolve payroll-related queries and issues.
  • You will assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accurate monthly payroll processing and validation.
  2. Statutory and occupational sickness payments, maternity, paternity handling.
  3. Benefits expenses calculation and management.
  4. Cooperation with Social Security Institution.
  5. Answering all payroll questions and inquiries.
  6. Payroll-related Key Performance Indicators and reporting.
  7. Assisting local management and HR colleagues with payroll, pension, and insurance related administrative tasks.
  8. Reviewing and processing timesheets and work records.
  9. Leave records review and processing.
  10. Overtime, benefits, and bonus data upkeep.
  11. Payroll actuals reviewing.
  12. HR-related budget control assistance in countries within assigned scope.
  13. Audits related to payroll or payroll systems assistance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, management science, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4+ year experience as Human Resources Generalist, People Operations, and Payroll or related experience.
  • Functional knowledge in key HR competencies and processes including compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, hire-to-retire events, and learning & development.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
  • Intermediate/business level in English.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other HR systems.
  • Process transitions experience.
