About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Manager to join our Global Employee Relations Team at Western Digital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources and Labor Relations, with a proven track record of leading complex investigations and negotiating contracts.

The role involves supporting Western Digital in ensuring consistency and reducing compliance risks in our employment practices and policies worldwide. This includes growing complex investigative and coaching capabilities on the team, while ensuring governance and due diligence to minimize risk.

As the primary liaison between Western Digital, site labor unions, and the Industrial Relations Office, you will own and maintain a collaborative labor/management relationship on the ground, serving as the company's lead labor negotiator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs to reduce risk to the business and promote a positive employee experience.
  • Lead a team of ER Partners and support investigators in HR and Employee Relations issues.
  • Negotiate Collective Agreements and serve as Chief Negotiator.
  • Analyze casework trends and produce strategic recommendations to the business.
  • Develop and maintain standards around governance, case assignments, reporting, and service level agreements.
  • Use data to drive business decisions and minimize reactive work.
