About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Channel Marketing Associate to join our team at Maxis. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, organizing, and executing events for regional retail channels, as well as managing sales and revenue generated from these events.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Event Execution and Management: Conceptualize, organize, and execute events for regional retail channels, including estimated 500 events yearly, excluding roving activities.
  2. Sales and Revenue Growth: Responsible for the sales and revenue generated from the events/projects.
  3. Business Needs Analysis: Observe and analyze business needs based on current trends and demands in the region.
  4. Project Management: Ensure projects proposed are executed as planned, end-to-end from proposal, costing, official approvals, execution, report, and post-mortem. Work closely with dealers/retailers and distribution team, monitoring targets.
  5. Regional Fund Management: Manage regional funds, responsible for allocation of budgets and tracking of funds received. Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs.
  6. Vendor Management: Hire, evaluate, and work closely with vendors (mostly event organizers), shopping malls, and contractors.
  7. Sponsorship Evaluation: Evaluate sponsorship requests in the region by preparing business justifications for sponsorship requests, proposing and recommending sponsorship requests, and negotiating sponsorship requests.
