Job Description:

  • This Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role is critical in providing scientific and medical support for assigned therapy areas. The MSL collaborates with cross-functional colleagues to execute the medical strategies of the Brand Plan and acts as a field-based resource for Health Care Providers (HCPs).
Main Responsibilities:

The MSL will be responsible for:

  • Providing scientific expertise in key therapeutic categories for external stakeholders, sharing data with HCPs and discussing all aspects in a scientific, objective, and balanced way.
  • Building and developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who can advocate for our products.
  • Undertaking KOL identification, engagement, and analysis, as well as speaker development and engagements with other external stakeholders.
  • Initiating and conducting impactful internal training & development on current clinical data and emerging trends in medical practice within therapeutic categories.
  • Supporting cross-functional stakeholders, particularly in medical education activities, sales conferences, and brand strategic plans, by presenting medical insights and suggestions on the current medical situation from patient, clinician, and scientific perspectives.
  • Contributing to the generation of clinical data, patient access to innovative medication, and scientific communication with key stakeholders.
  • Promoting and adhering to Zuellig Pharma's core values when carrying out day-to-day responsibilities and interactions.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with subspecialty training in related Therapeutic Areas or a PharmD, Doctorate Degree (PhD), or Master's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in related working fields, preferably within diabetes, metabolic, or cardiovascular therapeutics.
  • Strong scientific, medical, and technical skills in Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, and Medical Information.
