About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Process Engineer to join our team at VAT GROUP. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting process engineers for Machining Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support process engineers for Machining Operations, focusing on Secondary Process optimization.
  • Investigate and implement corrective actions for quality issues related to process.
  • Lead and manage improvement projects to enhance Yield, Quality, and Machine Utilizations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes and 6S initiatives to increase productivity and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead to improve Quality, Yield, and Cycle Time.
  • Ensure proper setup and use of equipment, tools, jigs/fixtures, and parts with established procedures.
  • Support daily tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical/Manufacturing, Material, Chemical, or Mechatronics.
  • Strong analytical ability to utilize Excel macros and Minitab.
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
  • Self-motivated individual who works effectively in team or independent environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
