**Freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist - Malaysia**

As a Freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a supporting role in developing, managing and overseeing Maker Lab’s hiring processes across APAC. You’re a self-driven individual who is able to navigate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You're a self-starter who is able to identify talent; build a strong talent pipeline and support organisational success as the business continues to develop in the region.

Passion for recruitment, talent engagement and experience coupled with a few years of experience recruiting across, Marketing, Social, Events, Creative, Content and similar are paramount for this role.

Role:

- Take full ownership with limited supervision of the end to end hiring processes and talent experiences.
- Design, plan and execute selection processes for hiring across the region.
- Identify bottlenecks in the recruiting flows and execute short and long term solutions.
- Build talent pipelines of interactive marketers, creatives, events specialists, content strategists, social media experts, creative technologists and others who build a bridge between creative, content and technology.
- Manage interview arrangements for talents, including but not limited to scheduling interviews.
- Improve recruiting KPIs; create and present related reports.
- Writing job descriptions to attract talents and clearly depict roles and responsibilities while posting these advertisements on market specific and relevant job portals
- Create and develop a strong network of potential talents in the market and for future business expansions.
- Help onboard employees as brand ambassadors as part of the formation of a talent network, internal and external.

You:

- At least 1-2+ years of experience as a Recruitment Consultant / Recruiter in-house at a marketing / advertising / digital agency or within a recruitment consultancy or prior experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Experience recruiting for the region or globally is a highly desirable
- Proven network of marketing and creative talent in APAC.
- Fully dedicated to ensuring a positive talent experience through all stages of recruitment
- Strong knowledge of hiring practices and a decent understanding of HR related regulations across the region.
- A sense of ownership and pride in your own performance and its impact on the company’s success.
- Positive mindset with impeccable influencing and consulting skills.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Critical thinker with problem-solving skills, requiring little supervision.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentations skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support with the projects spanning across APAC.
