In your new role you will:

- Manage, lead, and control the worldwide quality continuous improvement program “Next Level of Zero defect” that results in eliminating quality excursions and thus improving customer satisfaction.
- Ensure successful definition and execution of large, cross-functional quality improvement projects tied to annual strategic priorities.
- Identify quality best practices within and outside the company and serving as a channel for best practice sharing and adoption across backend sites.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture within the organization by prioritizing opportunities and execution of the Continuous improvement strategy and metrics.
- Managing and facilitating continuous improvement projects events to improve quality performance and accelerate growth
- Challenge organizational leaders when necessary to create an action-based culture of continuous improvement and increase Continuous Improvement and lean-oriented thinking throughout the organization
- Communicating ideas for continuous improvement and opinions to other members of the Infineon backend management team.Collaborating with other stakeholders from Business Division and Corporate QM to enhance the quality performance.

**Your Profile**
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry or relevant manufacturing environment
- Strong background in Quality Management and Project Management
- Relevant degree/Master/PhD in Physics, Electronics, MechanicalEngineering or similar
- Knowledge of the Automotive core tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to weigh and manage priorities
- Skilled at synthesis and analysis
- Strategic and analytical thinker
- Leadership and coaching skillsKnowledge in Six Sigma is helpful (e.g., Green Belt)
