**Job Summary**

The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and operations within the organization. This involves intervening in unsafe activities, evaluating safety policies, conducting research on regulatory requirements, and implementing corrective actions as necessary. They oversee accident investigations, maintain records of safety incidents, and collaborate with management to identify and address safety issues. Additionally, the Safety Officer organizes regular safety training for staff and promotes safety awareness throughout the company and its branches.
- Intervenes in the case of unsafe activities or operations being carried out by employees.
- Develops and performs evaluation of the organisation’s safety policies, methods, procedures, and programs.
- Carries out research with regards to regulatory requirements and best safety practices.
- To assist in monitoring the effectiveness of SMS, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Carry out routine tasks on safety improvement within the organization.
- To promote safety awareness in AONIC & branches and any matters regarding compliance in the company.
- Oversees and direct the entire process of accident investigation/analysis at HQ & branches.
- Responsible for keeping records of safety-related incidents and recommendation/administration of corrective measures.
- Works hand-in-hand with company management to identify safety-related issues and also supervise adherence to safety rules.
- Organises safety training for AONIC staff on a regular basis at HQ & branches

**Qualification**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management / Occupational Safety & Health / any related field OR Diploma in Aviation Safety Management / Occupational Safety & Health / any related field with technical training in any safety-related fields.
- Certificate in Safety Coordinator or/and Safety Management System or relevant safety certification.
- Must have excellent communication skills to be able to clearly pass information concerning safety precautions in HQ & branches.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must have coordinating abilities that are of the highest standards.
- Familiar and understanding of DOSH & CAAM guidelines and requirements.
- Experience in writing reports and policies for safety and health.
- Must be observant and proactive at all times when it comes to issue related to workplace safety at HQ & branches.
- Must be willing and able to work as part of a team or even lead a safety committee if the need arises.
- Internal Audit of better safety mitigation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
