We are looking for Accounts Payable Specialist to join Shared Service Center Finance Team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization;
- Review and verify invoices and check requests;
- Sort, code and match invoices;
- Set up invoices for payment;
- Book expenses and process expense reports;
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments;
- Prepare and perform check runs;
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records;
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions;
- Prepare analysis of accounts;
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date;
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues;
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries;
- Produce monthly reports;
- Assist with month-end closing;
- Provide supporting documentation for audits;
- Reconcile bank statements.

POSITION REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance
- At least 3 years working experience in this role
- Dedicated, professional attitude, enthusiastic and willing to learn;
- Effective organizational & time management and interpersonal skills
- Experience in ERP system and/or accounting shared service center will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS office, mainly excel
- This position is based in Malaysia
