About the Role

The SWIFTRef Operation team is responsible for performing gathering and validating various payment information on financial institutions across the world through direct contact or through any other reliable sources. This data is then used for publication in the SWIFTRef directories.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for performing research, gathering information and validating information on financial institutions across the world through reliable sources for payment information. Resolve and document customer inquiries regarding the status of their request for products and services activation in a timely, efficient and professional manner in accordance with the service level agreement, key performance indicators and escalation procedures. Liaise with customers, team members and other departments in order to resolve most of the customers' problems and queries Interface with internal functions to ensure compliance in the delivery of products and services. Identify opportunities for improvement to processes, procedures or tools. Provide highest quality customer services and support in compliance with all internal and external procedures. Acquire operational, process and product knowledge to resolve customer inquiries and problems. May assist in technical projects by preparing reports/statistics presentations, schedules/ planning

Your critical mission as a highly motivated team player is:

- To provide expert advises to junior officers and to more junior team members.
- Quality Control
- Data collection and validation process to feed our central SWIFTRef database
- Data management to build reference data through various sources.
- Ensure data collected from financial institutions is entered correctly in the SWIFTRef database and that the data is updated on a regular basis
- Strong communication skills and strong customer orientation, able to establish and maintain warm and supportive interpersonal relationships with internal and external customers
- Able to communicate fluently in English, other languages will be an added advantage for you.
- Good understanding on business / finance administration
- Ensuring that relevant information is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Frequent project work on data enhancements
- Dynamic, motivated, flexible, structured and well organized.
- Stress resistance and ability to work independently are required
- Self-driven wanting to make thing happen
- Team player, who shares problems and solutions, pro-actively offers to help others

The following experience/knowledge will be an asset:

- Maintaining real time and reference data
- Knowledge about cross border payments I key.
- Conduct complex financial modeling and analysis of financial information.

Experience

At least 3 year of relevant experience is required for this position

Professional knowledge and expertise
- A high degree of familiarity with customer data collection processes is required or will need to be learned
- Incumbent must be able to express himself in fluent English both verbally and in writing.
- Office Automation tools and experience in processes to enter/maintain data in databases are to be part of the daily working environment already.
- Stress resistance and ability to work independently are required, as are analytical skills
- Continuous improvement mindset is a must as is customer orientation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong problem solving skills.
