Hdpe Pipe Production Manager

**Job Overview**:

- Oversee production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics of HDPE pipe plant.
- Ensure safety, quality, and cost-efficiency while meeting production goals.
- Lead teams, collaborate with departments, and make data-driven decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Production Management**:

- Oversee daily production, schedules, and budgets.
- Optimize raw material usage and maintain inventory control.
- Ensure equipment and production capacity are fully utilized.

2. **Team Leadership**:

- Manage and mentor production teams and supervisors.
- Foster teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

3. **Quality Control & Compliance**:

- Ensure products meet industry standards and specifications.
- Oversee quality control throughout the production process.
- Stay updated on regulations and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

4. **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Coordinate maintenance to reduce downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Implement preventive maintenance and swiftly resolve production issues.
- Ensure mínimal disruption during repairs or machinery upgrades.

5. **Cost Control & Budgeting**:

- Manage plant budgets and control expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with procurement to negotiate better material costs.

6. **Health, Safety, Environment (HSE)**:

- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular audits.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, including emissions and waste management.
- Implement corrective actions for safety concerns and risks.

7. **Continuous Improvement**:

- Lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve plant performance.

8. **Customer Relations & Coordination**:

- Work with sales, marketing, and customer service to meet demand.
- Address customer concerns on product quality and delivery timelines.
- Ensure products are delivered on time and meet customer specifications.

9. **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Track production metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure accurate documentation of production processes, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
- Analyze data for decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

10. **Risk Management**:

- Identify potential risks in production, safety, and quality.
- Develop contingency plans to minimize operational disruptions.
- Proactively address any emerging challenges in supply chain or workforce issues.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. (A master’s degree is a plus.)

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or in managerial role.
- Specific experience in HDPE pipe manufacturing or plastics extrusion is highly preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and equipment maintenance in HDPE pipe manufacturing.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
