Overall Purpose of the Job
This position will be responsible for positioning Aspire Lifestyles’ suite of products and services to B2B2C industries targeting the mass affluent and high net worth segments. The Accounts and Client Services Manager Malaysia will be required to develop an aggressive sales strategy, action plan to achieve monthly and annual sales and business targets for existing business, as well as new business. In addition, the position will be responsible for ensuring that existing agreements and contracts are renewed at the end of the contractual term.
In terms of existing accounts, this is to be achieved through the upselling and cross-selling of Aspire’s services to both business units that are already being serviced, but also to business units that are not under the purview of existing service agreement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all clients and target markets within the identified customer verticals
- Identify key target potential clients in the targeted business verticals that can allow for the development of new and account extension business by establishing a strategy to develop new sales opportunities through Aspire solutions
- Understanding of the market for Islamic Banking and Takaful products and services and execute sales strategies around these verticals
- Develop an aggressive sales strategy and action plan to achieve monthly and annual sales and business targets for new, existing and renewal business
- Together with the sales team, develop Key Account Plans for all identified accounts
- Focus on building strong business relationships through trust to assist in increasing the yield per existing customer
Account Management and General Responsibilities
- Ensure there is regular face-to-face contact with all key customers, the Accounts and Client Services Manager will be the face of the organization in Malaysia.
- Ensure complete cross functional co-operation with all internal departments and key deliverables across Operations, Partnership, Finance and Digital.
- Understanding Operational delivery would be paramount with some background a plus.
- Owns the contract and the contract renewals process and shall be fully responsible in striving to attain 100% renewal budget including planning and executing renewal rate increase strategy.
- Minimise customer churn by providing responsive and effective account management and problem resolution.
- Meet account receivables targets and ensure that all accounts pay promptly and within agreed credit terms with zero bad debt accounts.
- Achieve other business and personal objectives set annually with the General Manager and in keeping with the Business Objectives of Aspire Lifestyles.

Required Work Experience
- Significant experience required within the Banking and Finance, Travel, Hospitality, Lifestyle and/or selling to the marketing and business heads in Banking and Finance sector.
- At least 10 years of consultative and strategic sales experience.
- Strong Sales hunter instinct, drive and determination with proven track record in business development activities selling premium Lifestyle solutions to the following client segments: Financial Institutions covering Credit Cards, Wealth Management and Private Banking sectors; High end retailers with membership programs; Luxury consumer brands; Automotive companies; Telecommunication industries; and Airlines
- Strong consultative and solution selling business approach
- Experience and established contacts with key providers relevant for our business e.g. ticketing, travel, wine and dine, etc will be an advantage
