Human Resources Assistant

**Job Purpose**
To provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR functions, compliance with company policies, and proper management of employee-related services including hostel accommodation.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Recruitment & Onboarding**
- Assist in posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support new hire onboarding, including preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and orientation materials.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is updated and filed properly.
**2. HR Administration**
- Handle HR correspondence, letters, memos, and staff communications.
- Assist in preparing HR reports for management.
- Support in organizing internal training, briefings, and employee engagement activities.
**3. Hostel & Welfare Management**
- Monitor and manage employee hostels to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel facilities and coordinate with maintenance for repairs or improvements.
- Manage hostel occupancy, allocations, and related documentation.
- Act as point of contact for employee welfare issues and escalate matters when required.
**4. Compliance & HR Support**
- Ensure HR processes comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in handling employee disciplinary records, warnings, and related documentation.
- Support HR in audits, licensing, and government-related submissions (excluding payroll/EPF/SOCSO processing).
**5. General Administration**
- Assist with general office administration tasks when necessary.
- Liaise with suppliers or service providers for HR/admin-related matters.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
