1) Material Management - Oversee the receipt, inspection, and inventory management of all materials and equipment required for the segment box girder project. Ensure materials are properly labelled, stored, and maintained in good condition. 2) Inventory Control - Maintain an accurate inventory of all materials, tools, and equipment in the warehouse. Implement a systematic tracking system and perform regular inventory counts to ensure consistency. 3) Logistics Coordination - Work closely with procurement, project management, and logistics teams to coordinate the timely delivery of materials to the project site. Ensure that materials are dispatched as needed, minimizing delays. 4) Quality Control - Collaborate with the QAQC team to inspect incoming materials for compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Document any discrepancies and work with suppliers to address issues. 5) Documentation - Maintain comprehensive records of all warehouse activities, including material receipts, issuances, returns, and stock levels. Generate reports as required and ensure proper documentation for project audit purposes. 6) Safety and Compliance - Ensure that all warehouse activities adhere to safety regulations and industry best practices. Implement proper storage practices, handling procedures, and safety guidelines. 7) Vendor Coordination - Work with suppliers and vendors to coordinate deliveries, manage returns, and resolve any issues related to materials or equipment. 8) Team Leadership - Supervise warehouse staff, if applicable, ensuring they are properly trained and motivated to carry out their duties efficiently. Provide guidance on warehouse processes and best practices. 9) Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the warehouse operations. Implement solutions to improve overall effectiveness. 10) All other duties as assigned.
