**The Company**:
Our client is an American supply chain solutions leader who provides airfreight, ocean freight and contract logistics solutions for more than 120 locations globally. They support the aerospace, automotive, consumer retail, energy, hi-tech, industrial and many other industries.
Reporting to the Regional Vice President in Singapore and the Infrastructure & Technology Director in the United States, the role will be responsible for implementing the Global IT roadmap, Global standard procedures and managing the IT team of Client and Network Services in the region.
**The Regional IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible to**:
- Implement the Global IT roadmap for Network and Client Services in the region as defined by Global IT Leadership.
- Coordinate with the Network and Systems groups as well as business stakeholders on high profile projects.
- Serves as primary escalation point and contact for all Regional Network and Client Services issues.
- Manage Local IT Vendors for Telecom, Hardware, and Managed Service Provider (MSP) with the direction and oversight of Global IT.
- Manage an IT team of Client and Network services in the Region.
- Manage Local Network downtimes by preparing plans, adequate testing, and recovery if problems occur during downtime.
- Implementing Global standard procedures in the region to support the configuration and deployment of hardware needed to satisfy end user requirements.
- Maintaining computer and device inventory for licensing and warranty purposes of all devices in the Region.
- Assist the branch office locations, their local networks, and their connectivity to the Crane Global network.
- Monitor and maintain all network / WAN connectivity to support the Regional branch office communications.
- Interact with internal clients to resolve issues; communicate with internal clients in a professional manner maintaining discretion.
- Advise and Collaborate with Global IT on Regional concerns to ensure platform, systems architecture and infrastructure is highly automated, fully instrumented, self-scaling and self-healing.
- Collaborate with the Global Network staff to find solutions to networking issues and the company’s Cyber team to attain SOC 2, ISO 27001, and relevant certifications.
- Team engagement and continuous development by collecting and analyzing performance KPIs.
**The Requirements**:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in IT or relevant fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in the related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with strong conceptual, analytical judgment and time management abilities.
- In depth knowledge of contracting, negotiating, organization development/change management, budgeting, action planning and supervision.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Developmental Operations (DevOps) methodologies, with previous implementation experience
- Demonstrated experience transforming IT infrastructure and supporting IT operations.
- Experienced with public cloud architecture, cloud strategy, networking, security, and compliance workload types.
- Familiarity with managing IP-based networks, WAN technologies, cloud, DHCP/DNS
- Business acumen necessary to develop and present data-based ideas and solutions in a clear, concise, and organized manner to management executives.
- The ability to travel may be required from time to time.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Yearly bonus
**Experience**:
- IT Infrastructure: 7 years (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (preferred)
