Key Responsibilities:

- Learn and manage payroll functions using our SQL-based payroll system.
- Manage the full payroll cycle, including data entry, payroll calculations and distribution of paychecks.
- Perform necessary manual entries and adjustments for hours worked, overtime, bonuses and deductions as needed.
- Prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics, including payroll data.
- Ensure accurate processing of statutory payments, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and retirement contributions, adhering to all relevant laws.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, including orientation and training.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns in a professional and confidential manner.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Handle various ad hoc tasks and projects related to payroll, such as system upgrades, process improvements and special reporting requests.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR or a similar role (2+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with SQL or willingness to learn SQL-based systems for payroll management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
