Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

What are you accountable for?- Establish technical vision and lead company’s technological development, working closely with senior management in delivery of fintech technology stack including overseeing or designing the architecture solution, system infrastructure, cybersecurity controls/measures- Advise senior management (when there are new incremental change) on impact (if any) on design choices to technology, compliance and cybersecurity matters, including compliance with MCSB policies, frameworks, and other technology-related regulatory requirements.- Determine and establish detailed product and technology specifications based on conceptualisation and business requirements.- Work closely with outsource service providers (OSPs) to translate requirements into clear specifications and scoping, and to ensure effectiveness of delivery and progress including performance of OSPs.- Lead end to end new products rollout /deployment by coordinating, assessing and communicating across divisions (Business, IT, Cybersecurity, Compliance, ERM, Fraud, etc) while ensuring that the agreed solution and approach are executed effectively and in compliance.-
- Ensure service stability with regards to the systems and services and actively perform housekeeping and tracking to prevent any system disruption to customers.- Define company standards for systems, equipment, and software, and ensure technology standards and best practices are met- Demonstrate strong sense of integrity and accountability on decisions and results of the decisions by living up to Maxis way of conducting business and showing transparency on the actions that lead to the decision/results of the decision.- Monitor OPEX and CAPEX of platform investment to ensure achievement of low cost and high-quality delivery.- Lead and drive all technology conversations and discussions with BNM or any regulator to ensure all compliance requirements, esp on technology and cybersecurity front are met and fulfilled.- Advise when establishing appropriate governance requirements commensurate with the risk and complexity of new technology projects undertaken. This shall include advising when project oversight roles and responsibilities, authority and reporting structures, and risk assessment throughout the project life cycle are established. This also includes assessing the complexity of systems to be implemented such as the use of unproven or unfamiliar technology and the corresponding risks of integrating the new technology into existing systems and managing multiple vendor-proprietary technologies.

What do you need to have for this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Total Work Experience: 10 to 15 years in software development, technology and cloud
- In-depth understanding of financial services and payments industries, including merchant services, blockchain, forex, and crypto currencies
- Certain experience in managing/dealing with BNM or relevant regulator.
- Experience with such technologies as.Net, C#, SQL Server, MongoDB, Solr, jQuery, Angular, AWS, IIS, GitHub, Grunt/Gulp, Node.JS, Java/C
- Have experience in DevOps & Infrastructure management with demonstrated ability to design solutions based on Unix based OS, storage, databases & network
- Preferably certified or experience in using and managing cloud services such as AWS, AliCloud including access controls
- Experienced in ensuring platforms and solution under care meets and comply to BNM RMIT, eMoney Guidelines and other related regulatory and technical compliances
- Thrives in an agile environment in setting up, integration and supporting solutions with multiple partners
- Highly proactive, ability to multi-task, a team player and able to communicate effectively
- Experience in aligning multiple strategies and ideas to workable solutions
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills
- Confident in producing and presenting work with excellent verbal and written communication skills
