**Job Summary**
Are you passionate about automotive engineering and ready to make a meaningful impact in vehicle safety and inspection standards? We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team and help elevate our vehicle inspection operations.
As an Executive in the Vehicle Inspection Section, you will play a vital role in developing inspection methods, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support our commitment to excellence and safety.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Head of Section in formulating and executing the division’s Annual Management Plan (AMP) in line with corporate objectives.
- Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to vehicle inspection methods, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inspection methods and recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure all inspection activities are conducted in accordance with the Road Transport Act, Environmental Quality Act, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) management systems across inspection centers.
- Collaborate with other departments and branches to troubleshoot technical issues and standardize inspection practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives for management review.
- Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory authorities (e.g., JPJ, DOE), industry associations, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Provide technical helpdesk support and guidance to inspection personnel on vehicle inspection methods and their implications.
- Travel frequently to PUSPAKOM branches nationwide to conduct site visits, training, audits, and implementation of new inspection procedures or technologies.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
**Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in vehicle inspection, automotive testing, or a related technical role.
**Technical & Personal Attributes**
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, inspection technologies, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and accountability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Malaysia.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
