- **Ruder Finn Malaysia** has an immediate open position for an intern to join our integrated communications team.

**Your role**:
You will assist in the...
- writing and distribution of pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets and bios and all other form of communications material
- creation and maintenance of our media lists.
- handling of routine media inquiries.
- monitoring media to report coverage that affects the client’s business.
- development of relationships with the media to convey the client’s message
- identification of media opportunities.
- client research and assist in new business proposals.
- coordination of events and promotions for the client
- account administration duties (Eg. billing and activity reports)

**Requirements**:

- Degree and/or post-graduate degree in PR / Political Science / Media/Communication or equivalent;
- Language skills: Fluency in English;
- Knowledge and interest in Communications, Public Affairs is a must
- Computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication & writing skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and perform under tight deadlines
