The resort consists of 494 guest rooms, a 64-acre nature reserve, the Rasa Ria Reserve, home to wildlife including long-tailed macaques and slow lorises, and home to an 18-hole championship golf course with picture-perfect views of Mt Kinabalu (a UNESCO World Heritage site).
We're looking for a professional Restaurant Manager - Food & Beverage - or aspiring to be required for our Food & Beverage Service Division.
Job summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, management and overall performance of the outlet/section appointed to. As such he/she will be directly involved in the day-to-day running of the outlet in connection with staffing, customer services and product quality. Delegation of duties and responsibilities to his/her assistant is necessary to ensure the proper functioning of all phases of F&B service in the areas under control. He/she is to implement all standardized procedures, rules and regulations systematically to be in line with hotel standards and policies.
Requirement
Physically fit, neat, and well-groomed
Proficient in oral and written English, additional language an advantage
Confident, tactful, sensitive to guest and employee needs, service oriented, team player, flexible
Has effective managerial and leadership skills and is well organized.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a 5* hotel or in a standalone restaurant
Customer and revenue driven; has high attention to detail.
Has basic food hygiene knowledge
Creative; can think out-of-the box
Due to Local Immigration policies, only Malaysian will be considered.
