Technical Supervisor

**Position Overview**:
The Technical Supervisor at JLL is responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of building systems across client facilities. This role ensures the optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems while maintaining JLL's commitment to operational excellence, energy efficiency, and exceptional client service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of technical specialists and maintenance personnel, providing technical guidance, supervision, and professional development
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for complex building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems
- Implement our technical standards and best practices across assigned properties to ensure consistent service delivery and system reliability
- Conduct technical inspections and audits using our quality assurance frameworks to identify improvement opportunities and compliance issues
- Manage critical equipment lifecycle planning and capital project implementation in collaboration with client teams
- Coordinate with our energy management specialists to optimize building performance and support sustainability initiatives
- Monitor and analyze building system performance data through our technology platforms to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and our safety protocols for all technical operations
- Develop and maintain emergency response procedures for technical systems and support business continuity planning
- Serve as a technical liaison between clients, contractors, and our management, providing expert consultation on system issues and upgrades

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Systems, Facility Management, or related technical field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in technical building operations
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and fire/life safety systems
- Experience with building automation systems, preventive maintenance software
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills for complex building systems issues
- Excellent project management capabilities for coordinating multiple technical initiatives
- Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of energy management principles and sustainable building operations
