St Joseph’s Institution International School (SJIIS) in Malaysia is a Lasallian International School (3 to 18 years). We teach the UK National Curriculum, with the exception of Singapore maths. The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is used as a vehicle for teaching cross-curricular units. The school has an emphasis upon research-based teaching pedagogy and a character-programme, based on the Virtues Project and inspired by the school’s Lasallian heritage. This includes service learning initiatives, and a holistic approach to sport, music and the arts.

**Responsibility**:

- To teach pupils assigned to your class within the school and carry out duties as required by the Elementary School Leadership Team.
- This position is 50% ES Class teacher and 50% SEN support teacher
- To promote the Lasallian Mission and Core Values of SJII Malaysia.
- Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reports meet the expectations of the school.
- To actively contribute to wider school development and growth
- Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach towards professional development.
