**Job Title**:Finance Assistant

**Reports To**: Finance Executive/Finance Manager

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Finance Assistant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This includes maintaining financial records, processing transactions, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting various financial tasks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. **Accounts Management**:

- Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Handle petty cash and manage expenses.

2. **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, etc.).
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory documents.

3. **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to the budget.

4. **Compliance**:

- Ensure that financial records comply with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support audits.

5. **Data Entry and Documentation**:

- Input and maintain financial data into financial software.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documents and reports.

6. **Communication**:

- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**

Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 2 to 4 years of relevant working Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
