The Procurement Manager leads the end-to-end procurement function for the group, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier reliability, and seamless integration with culinary and operations teams. This role is accountable for building procurement strategies, optimizing supply chain performance, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the procurement function supports the company’s financial and operational goals.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, cost targets, and quality standards.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process optimization.
- Lead supplier risk assessments and contingency planning.
- Oversee and approve purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and budget.
- Manage procurement activities for all outlets, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with outlet teams to ensure optimal stock levels across the group.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, pricing, and service.
- Lead supplier performance reviews, negotiate commercial terms, and manage supplier onboarding and evaluation.
- Resolve procurement-related issues promptly, including disputes, delays, or quality concerns.
- Analyze purchasing trends, forecast needs, and provide actionable insights to Culinary Director and Finance.
- Ensure procurement reports, price comparisons, and cost variance reports are timely and accurate.
- Drive system improvements such as recipe management and standard costing to streamline procurement processes.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing training, support, and performance feedback.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with culinary, operations, and finance teams to ensure procurement supports broader business needs.
- Champion procurement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in the food & beverage or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing, vendor management, and procurement strategy development.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, inventory/procurement software, and ERP systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
