**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Quality Assurance (QA)**

**Develop and Implement Quality Management Systems (QMS)**:

- Create and maintain documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and audit protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local (e.g., NPRA, MOH, HALAL) and international regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP).

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Monitor compliance with Malaysian regulatory bodies (e.g., NPRA, MOH).
- Ensure product labeling, claims, and formulations meet regulations.

**New Product Development (NPD) Support**:

- Review and approve raw materials, packaging materials, and formulations for quality and compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments for new product launches.

**Supplier and Vendor Audits**:

- Evaluate and audit raw material suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Verify raw material COAs and ensure supplier adherence to quality standards.

**Quality Control (QC)**

**Incoming Material Inspections**:

- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, packaging, and ingredients to meet specifications.

**In-Process Quality Monitoring**:

- Oversee manufacturing processes, conducting spot checks to ensure consistent quality.
- Identify deviations and enforce corrective actions promptly.

**Product Testing and Release**:

- Perform final product testing (e.g., stability, microbiological testing).
- Approve finished goods before release to the market.

**Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving**

**Root Cause Analysis and CAPA**:

- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

**Training and Education**:

- Train production teams on quality standards, processes, and hygiene practices.
- Foster a quality-first culture within the organization.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare quality reports for internal reviews and external audits.

**Hygiene and Safety Compliance**

**Ensure GMP and Hygiene Practices**:

- Maintain and enforce strict hygiene protocols on the production floor.
- Support occupational safety initiatives to align with company standards.

**Environmental Responsibility**:

- Collaborate on initiatives to reduce waste and align quality practices with sustainability goals.

**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Microbiology, or Quality Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the personal care or cosmetics industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices
- Proficiency in using quality control software and equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
