Overview

As part of the Business & Corporate Banking - SME Business Risk & Compliance team, you are responsible for supporting and driving BCB - SME's initiatives and activities in line with the bank's strategic direction. This role is impactful as its objective would be to assist the SME team on ensuring sound practice of compliance with all regulatory requirements & internal policies.

This role reports to the Head - Business & Corporate Banking (Operation & Support).

Job Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Compliance_
- Ensure SME Banking is in compliance with all regulatory requirement and internal policies at all times.
- Review/conduct assessment on Medium, High, & Very High AML/CFT risk accounts in SIRON, including customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence prior to obtain approval from Senior Management.
- Perform credit review on the delisted accounts.
- Compliance Trainings_
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring of compliance and risk activities including training and communications.
- Implement and inculcate compliance and risk culture to all SME Banking staff on regulatory requirement and internal policies.
- Provide hands-on guidance and advice to SME Banking Staff.

Job Requirements

- Malaysian citizen
- Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in Banking Compliance or Credit.
- Education_
- Bachelor's Degree in Banking/Accounting/Finance or related field of study.
