Purchasing Assistant

**Job Summary**:
The Purchasing Assistant will support the purchasing department in administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient procurement operations. The role involves handling purchase orders, maintaining records, liaising with suppliers, and assisting in the overall supply chain management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in preparing, issuing, and tracking purchase orders.
- Maintain and update purchasing records, files, and reports.
- Manage and organize supplier documentation and agreements.
- Communicate with suppliers for quotations, delivery schedules, and inquiries.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Handle discrepancies in orders, deliveries, or invoices promptly.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and placing replenishment orders.
- Coordinate with the logistic and store team to ensure proper stock receipt and storage.
- Input accurate purchase data into the company’s system.
- Generate purchasing-related reports for management review.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures.
- File and maintain all procurement-related documents in compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill purchase requirements.
- Assist in resolving procurement-related issues and discrepancies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
