**Company Description**
The Company is a leading international provider of têxtile, hygiene, and facility services, headquartered in EU; a global player with a strong presence in 31 countries across Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. It is listed on Euronext Paris with over 55,000 employees worldwide and market cap of multibillion Euros. The group has a long-term plan to grow in SE Asia. The Company is looking for a General Manager for its recently acquired factory in Malaysia.
**Position’s Responsibilities**
The main activities, but not limited to those below, are as follows:
- _Strategic Leadership & Operations_
Lead daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics. Implement best practices in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with local regulations, global standards, and Company policies.
- _People Management_
Manage, coach, and mentor team leaders and operational staff (approx. 100 personnel). Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workforce.
- _Financial Oversight_
Develop and manage operational budgets and cost controls. Monitor KPIs to optimize efficiency and financial performance. Collaborate with finance and HQ teams to align operational targets with financial goals.
- _Customer Relationship & Quality Focus_
The principal representative of the Company to B2B clients to ensure timely delivery and service excellence. Maintain high quality standards in têxtile and hygiene services. Handle customer feedback with professionalism and urgency.
- _Reporting & Compliance_
Provide periodic reports on performance metrics to senior management.
Ensure all operations meet safety, environmental, and health standards.
**Position Requirements**
- Academic_
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent).
- MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Professional Career Experience_
- 8-10 years of General Manager’s role in a plant/production management, preferably in têxtile, hygiene, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven leadership experience managing 50-100 staff in a structured factory setting with P&L responsibility.
- Professional Knowledge / Competencies_
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to align plant operations with organizational goals. Visionary planning to drive long-term efficiency and competitiveness.
- Proven P&L responsibility.
- Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement. Proven ability to manage daily operations smoothly under pressure.
- Financial Acumen: Competent in budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization. Ability to balance production needs with financial performance targets. Strong analytical skill.
- Customer & Quality Focused: Commitment to delivering high service quality and meeting client expectations. Maintains strict compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Technological Competence: Familiarity with ERP systems, automation tools, and data analytics are an advantage. Advocates digital transformation in production settings.

- Change Management: Capable of managing organizational change, cultural shifts, and process re-engineering. Able to align the local unit to the global standard of the Company. Resilient and adaptable in dynamic environments.
- Languages_
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken).
- Basic to intermediate French is an advantage.
**Compensation**:
A Competitive remuneration and performance-based incentives package will be provided under Malaysia contract. Eligible for long term incentive programs (shares of the company listed in Euronext, Paris) upon successful performance.

Pay: RM30,000.00 - RM40,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
- Performance bonus
