**Role Summary**
We are seeking a results-oriented and operationally focused **General Manager** to lead regional execution and business scale-up across Southeast Asia for a next-generation oncology diagnostics platform.
The General Manager will oversee go-to-market operations, regulatory coordination, commercial rollout, and cross-functional alignment. The role requires strong execution capabilities, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of healthcare systems in ASEAN.
This is a high-impact leadership position at the intersection of product commercialization, regulatory execution, and pre-IPO growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Market Execution & Commercial Operations**
- Drive go-to-market planning and execution for the company’s oncology diagnostics platform across key ASEAN markets.
- Oversee commercial functions including onboarding of healthcare partners, early-stage sales operations, and channel development.
- Monitor performance metrics relating to market adoption, revenue ramp-up, and operational delivery.
**Regulatory Coordination**
- Lead regulatory filing activities across Malaysia, Singapore, and neighboring jurisdictions in collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.
- Track submission status and ensure alignment with regional compliance standards for diagnostics and medical devices.
- Support interactions with health authorities and reimbursement agencies where required.
**Cross-Functional Oversight**
- Coordinate with global technical, clinical, and manufacturing teams to align on product readiness and regional timelines.
- Ensure regional implementation milestones are met for product access, onboarding, and market launch.
- Identify risks or delays and escalate to executive leadership with mitigation plans.
**Partnerships & Strategic Engagement**
- Identify and manage relationships with hospitals, laboratories, distribution partners, and key opinion leaders.
- Represent the company in investor meetings, healthcare conferences, and strategic partner engagements.
- Support communications and planning related to corporate development and future public listing activities.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Health Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in diagnostics, medtech, or biotech, preferably within ASEAN markets
- Proven track record in commercial leadership, market expansion, or regulatory execution
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulatory environments in Malaysia, Singapore, and Southeast Asia
- Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills
**Preferred Experience**
- Regulatory or market entry experience
- Understanding of IPO-readiness or investor communications in a scaling company
