**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Assistant Manager, Business Development supports the Business Development Manager in driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base. They assist in developing strategies, generating leads, and building relationships. The Assistant Manager supports sales activities, conducts market research, contributes to reporting and analysis, and provides administrative assistance. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are key to success in this role.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Major Responsibilities**
- Assist the Business Development Manager in developing and executing business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base. Support in identifying new market opportunities, conducting market research, and analyzing industry trends.
- Contribute to lead generation efforts through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research. Assist in building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline by identifying potential clients and nurturing relationships.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and cross-functional teams to develop business proposals and presentations. Assist in tailoring proposals to meet client requirements and effectively communicate the organization's value proposition.
- Support in building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Assist in engaging in regular communication and networking activities to establish trust, understand client needs, and identify partnership opportunities.
- Provide assistance to the sales team by supporting sales activities, coordinating client meetings, and assisting in the preparation of sales materials. Assist in sales follow-up and tracking of sales activities to support the conversion of leads into customers.
- Assist in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend evaluation to identify potential areas for business growth. Support in monitoring market dynamics, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing business development activities, sales performance, and market trends. Contribute to the preparation of regular reports and presentation of findings to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing documentation, and maintaining records.

**JOB REQUIREMENT**
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is typically required. Previous experience in business development, sales, or a related role is preferred but not always mandatory.
- Basic understanding of sales and business development principles, including lead generation, prospecting, and proposal development. Willingness to learn and develop sales skills to contribute effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Ability to build rapport, listen effectively, and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Awareness of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Willingness to stay informed and learn about the industry to support business development activities.
- Basic analytical skills to gather and interpret data, analyze market trends, and contribute to decision-making. Strong problem-solving skills to identify solutions and support the development of creative strategies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
