Able to handle purchasing activities including sourcing for potential vendor, comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers and negotiating contracts, terms of agreement and pricing to achieve cost savings and meet budgetary targets.
- Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan for packaging & production sub-materials to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Conduct market analysis, assess supplier capabilities, and identify potential vendors.
- Generate and process purchase orders.
- Liaise with supplier for timely delivery, to ensure smooth and efficient running of daily operation.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to establish and maintain high standards for packaging and sub-materials.
- In charge of buying quality products and services that is cost-efficient.
- Implement efficient inventory control practices to minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Evaluate supplier performance time to time based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices in line with company standard procedure.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier performance apart from ensuring Custom compliance.
- Prepare cost analyses and monthly reports.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing packaging and sub-material suppliers.
- Create and maintain close working relationships with _suppliers_. Work with the Finance Department and end users to ensure regularly purchased.
- Perform other duties assigned as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma holder in Logistics / Supply Chain Management with at least 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in Electronic Manufacturing Services environment.
- A good level of Microsoft Office and the ability to create datasheets and other document types.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of procurement processes and practices.
- Highly organized, possess strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in Malay & English. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus point.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- A motivated person with strong work ethics and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Malaysian citizen.
- Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
