Introduction

Are you ready to lead the evolution of how we use Workday to enable and transform HR processes? We’re looking for a forward-thinking Workday Technology Lead to drive impactful initiatives that improve digital HR experiences, enhance data integrity, and support scalable operations.

In this high-impact role at the intersection of HR, data and technology, you’ll guide a small team of HR technology professionals, manage complex Workday-related projects, and collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure our systems are efficient, consistent, and well-adopted.

If you’re energized by solving system challenges, shaping how employees experience digital HR and develop your people, you’ll thrive here. This isn’t a back-office, report-running only kind of role - it’s for someone who enjoys continuous improvement and enablement of the HR function with purpose.

What you will do:
Core team responsibilities: Guide and oversee the HR Tech business partner’s key responsibilities, including:

- Support Workday module launches: provide guidance and expertise for new system functionalities and enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions for HR stakeholders without directly administering modules.
- Provide Workday expertise and support: act as a second line of support for HR users and Swift employees, and advise on Workday and other HR system initiatives (e.g., Questionmark), equipping HR teams with the knowledge and tools they need.
- Lead change management and adoption: drive adoption strategies, coordinate testing, and deliver clear, timely, and effective training and communication to the HR community regarding system updates, process changes, and best practices.
- Facilitate HR tech development prioritization: coordinate the HR prioritization process, working with leadership to align enhancements and improvements with strategic business needs.
- Develop and maintain operational reporting: design, update, and maintain HR transactional and operational reports (e.g., KPI reports, illness and absenteeism) to support data-driven decision-making, in close collaboration with the HR People Analytics team.
- Ensure operational excellence: safeguard the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of recurring HR systems processes (e.g., audit reports, cost center management, reorganizations, performance cycle support) that are essential to the smooth running of HR.

Act as a strategic connector: serve as the primary liaison between HR teams, IT Operations (notably the Workday CoE working in Agile), and regional stakeholders. Translate business needs into system solutions and ensure alignment across functions and geographies.

Lead projects and initiatives: serve as a project lead across global HR technology initiatives, from process changes to Workday releases and new system implementations. Ensure delivery on time, on budget, and in line with business priorities.

Manage and develop the team: lead a small team of HR Technology specialists, providing direction, coaching, and clear performance expectations. Build capabilities and foster a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Champion HR technology: act as an ambassador for HR Tech, exploring new tools and opportunities, shaping the HR systems roadmap, and driving innovation in automation, self-service, and employee/manager experience.

What You Bring

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Information Systems or HR Technology roles, with strong hands-on experience in Workday and a track record of delivering system enhancements from design to implementation.
- Technical curiosity and affinity beyond Workday, with an appetite to explore and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI
- Broad understanding of HR domains (Talent, Performance, Learning, Compensation) and their integration into systems and processes, with the a
