**Overview**:

- rhi are support our client in find a proven Financial Analyst - ARC for processing of end-to-end accounting transactions our global oil and gas client based in Kuala Lumpur.
- Duration: 6 month contract
- Immediate start available

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of end-to-end accounting transactions—including journal entries, intercompany activities, fixed assets, and accounts payable invoices, etc—in strict compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Perform reconciliation of the respective systems to ensure they balance and that any discrepancies or variations are investigated and corrected.
- Manage both local statutory and group reporting requirements, ensuring proper oversight of tax filings and providing support during audits.
- Monitor overdue items, proactively resolve outstanding operational issues, and escalate matters as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Support month-end closing activities, including posting manual journals and preparing comprehensive monthly reports.
- Identify, recommend, and drive the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within existing processes, and actively lead or support related projects.

Desirable Criteria**- Shared service centre experience - Large company
- JDE system experience-
- 3yrs specific audit experience

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field - Must have
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA) - Ideal
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience is highly sought**
