**Job Summary**:
The Production and Quality Control Lead oversees the end-to-end production process, ensuring all printed publications meet quality standards and are delivered on time. This role manages print file readiness, proof checking, and vendor coordination, while also handling audio serial code integration. Additionally, the Lead contributes to product development by advising on format, materials, and production feasibility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and validate final print files, ensuring readiness for production.
- Act as the main requester and custodian of print files from internal teams or vendors.
- Ensure artwork and files are accurate and meet printing specifications before release.
- Manage production and proof-checking processes, including color proofs, advance copies, and ozalids while maintaining systematic reporting and tracking.
- Oversee production progress and coordinate timely dispatch to meet deadlines.
- Identify and report production defects, and coordinate corrective actions with internal or external team to ensure timely resolution.
- Serve as the key contact person for printers, managing prioritization, scheduling, and timelines.
- Liaise with 3PL or internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and receipt of printed products.
- Oversee the generation and uploading of serial codes, and ensure the accuracy and validity of QR codes post-creation.
- Advise on product specifications and support publishing teams with practical, production-based recommendations.
- Maintain and enforce quality control SOP Undertake and execute any ad-hoc projects as & when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Possess at least Degree in Publishing, Production, Supply Chain, Business Management or a similar field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Production/Printing/Publishing companies or in Quality Control related fields

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across functions to achieve company goals.
- Highly independent, self-motivated, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under mínimal supervision.
- Excellent command of English with strong grammar and spelling skills, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Capable of performing under pressure and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Well-organized and able to understand audience needs, especially in the context of publishing and production workflows.
- Resourceful in solving problems and adaptable to changing priorities.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
