Admin Assistant, Procurement

Perform sourcing and purchasing activities in accordance with the company’s policies and approval procedures. Ensure all purchases are supported with the proper paperwork.
- Negotiate and liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery timeline, quality, service, etc.
- Work with suppliers to resolve any quality issues reported by internal departments or external customers.
- Maintain an accurate supplier and pricing database, and ensure proper filing of important product & equipment documents and catalogues.
- Responsible for the registration of approved suppliers into the company’s vendor system.
- Monitor product prices and identify opportunity for cost saving (through price negotiation, substitute product, tax exemptions, etc.).
- Provide regular reporting to update management on purchasing and inventory matters.
- Source for new items or equipment to support the R&D of new product or business ideas.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as per assigned by supervisor.
**Requirements**:
- Min. Bachelor Degree holder in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or relevant fields.
- Min 2-3 years of experience working in a purchasing role, preferably in the F&B industry is an advantage.
- Experienced in dealing with local and international suppliers, and familiar with logistics arrangement.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to multitask.
- Can speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Melayu.
