- Department: Human Resources- Location: MalaysiaThe Payroll Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring employees are compensated accurately and in compliance with regulations, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Your main role is responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees. This role involves managing of payroll records, calculating and validation on all pay elements received from our vendor, as well as addressing any payroll-related inquiries raised by associates.-
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure payroll operations are compliant, efficient and current.
- Manage and coordinate end-to-end employees' payroll processing by consolidate of time-and-attendance records, employee master data and any other payroll changes data (e.g. new hires, terminations, promotions, one-time payment) in adherence to company timeline.
- Support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with our IT support team for all payroll tool and system upgrades.
- Ensure that payroll procedures are aligned with pertinent laws and internal policies through collaborative efforts with other Centers of Excellence (COEs) team within the company or external consultants.
- Provide support and assistance in internal and external audit activities pertaining to payroll records as needed.
- Supervise payroll executives and specialists.
- Collaborate with human resources and finance/accounting teams.
- Maintain consistent, complete, accurate and timely records and prepare all necessary reports and dashboards.
- Response promptly to payroll-related inquiries within stipulated service level agreement (SLA) and provide sustainable resolution to any concerns raised by employees.

**Job Requirements**
- At least one year proven/demonstrable experience as a payroll manager or similar role
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
- Excellent understanding of multi-country, multi-location payroll and taxes
- Familiarity with payroll software, HRIS and MS Office (specifically Excel)
- A keen eye for details
- An analytical mind and good math skills
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
- Organizational and leadership skills
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field
- Good command of English (written and spoken) is a must
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese/Mandarin is a plus
- Professional certification (e.g. CPP, CPM) is a plus
