**Job Summary**:
The Junior Accounts Executive will assist the finance and accounting team in performing essential accounting functions, including maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the preparation of financial statements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Record financial transactions in the accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Record daily financial transactions, including expenses, revenues, and payments, in the accounting system.
- Perform data entry for day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Support in managing accounts receivable, including generating and sending invoices, and following up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor payments and customer transactions.
- Perform routine bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and internal records.
- Ensure that financial records are updated promptly and accurately.
- Help maintain the general ledger by ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the finance department in organizing financial documents for audits and tax activities.
- Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents for easy access during audits or reviews.
- Maintain physical and digital records of financial transactions in accordance with company policy.
- Support other finance team members in ad-hoc tasks or projects as needed.

**Skills Required (including software literacy)**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting software (UBS).
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, standards and SST.

**Academic Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of working experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
