**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Lead Operations & Drive Excellence
- **Oversee daily manufacturing operations**, ensuring the Production and Quality Departments meet customer deadlines while maintaining quality and cost targets.
- Collaborate closely with the Tooling Department to optimize mold maintenance and minimise downtime from tooling.
- Oversee the Planning Department to ensure end-to-end supply chain management, including inventory control, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Support the Sales Team to deliver new projects, ensuring smooth execution and timely completions.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and document control related to operations.
- Oversee all departments to ensure compliance in all third-party audits

2. Innovate Processes & Technology
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for new technologies and/or other efficiencies to be implemented**.**

3. Build & Mentor Teams
- Foster a **culture of collaboration, safety, and accountability** across production, tooling, and quality teams.
- Manage staffing needs, performance reviews, and skill development for a tight-knit team.

4. Financial & Strategic Leadership
- **Develop and manage the annual operations budget**, **tracking KPIs** to manage the labour, materials, and overhead costs.
- Identify and implement **cost-saving measures** without compromising quality or safety
- Collaborate with sales and engineering to align operations with customer demands and new project launches.

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Experience**: 5+ years in operations/production management, preferably in plastic injection molding.

**Technical Skills**:

- Deep knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, tooling design/maintenance, and materials (e.g., thermoplastics).
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office.**

**Leadership**:Effective **communication skills** to liaise with internal teams and customers. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions.

**Education**: Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
