DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contributing to the development and delivery of the teaching programme.
- Participate in programmes of instruction, including lectures, tutorials, question discussion, case discussion and assessment in basic medical sciences for undergraduate students at Perdana University.
- Liaising closely with the Dean, Deputy Dean and Curriculum Coordinator/ Clerkship Director, regarding curriculum development, teaching programmes and examinations.
- Contributing to the assessment processes of Perdana University including the grading of examinations, at the end of course.
- Advising and mentoring students and providing advocacy as appropriate.
- Maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
- Ensuring course curricula and materials are kept up-to-date.
- Complying with Malaysian statutory legislation and implementing Perdana University rules and requirements in furtherance of your own and general staff welfare and safety.
- Liaise with Ministry of Health consultants and house/medical officers.
- Performing such other related duties as may be requested from time to time

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Medical qualification that is registerable with Malaysian Medical Council especially for clinical disciplines.
- Registered with National Specialist Registry (desirable) for clinical disciplines.
- Previous academic experience and/or strong interest in medical education.
- Interest for research.
- Required to work at Perdana University, and / or at designated hospitals, clinics or workplaces associated to Perdana University.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
