HRbp - Product and Tech

We are hiring a **Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) - Product & Technology** to support our high-performing engineering, product, and tech teams across APAC. In this critical role, you will work closely with technical leaders to scale teams, shape people strategy, and embed HR programs that fuel innovation and business agility.

As the dedicated HRBP for Product and Tech, you will be at the intersection of people and technology, driving workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced, product-centric environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**_

**Strategic Partner to Product & Tech**
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product leaders to align people strategies with technology roadmaps.
- Guide workforce planning and team scaling in high-growth tech environments.
- Drive organizational design tailored to agile, cross-functional teams.

**Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning**
- Partner with TA to identify top tech talent across functions and markets.
- Align hiring plans with sprint cycles, product launches, and tech priorities.
- Co-develop sourcing strategies for niche engineering and product roles.

**Performance & Technical Talent Development**
- Embed structured feedback, performance management, and career frameworks for technical roles.
- Coach leaders on high-potential talent, engineering ladders, and development plans.
- Support succession planning for critical technical positions.

**Change & Transformation**
- Lead HR support during org changes, re-architecture, and tech restructuring.
- Guide communication strategies during platform transitions, reorgs, and scaling phases.
- Ensure seamless adoption of agile and DevOps-oriented structures.

**Rewards, Recognition & Retention**
- Collaborate with C&B on tech benchmarking, retention strategies, and merit cycles.
- Promote fair, competitive, and transparent compensation for engineers and product talent.
- Co-develop recognition programs aligned to innovation and delivery outcomes.

**Culture & Engagement for Tech Teams**
- Champion a culture of innovation, psychological safety, and continuous learning.
- Use pulse surveys and engagement data to support tech team morale and productivity.
- Co-drive events and rituals that strengthen engineering and product community.

**Employee Relations & Compliance**
- Advise tech leaders on employment law, team dynamics, and ER cases.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure risk mitigation across regions.

**People Analytics & Decision Support**
- Use workforce analytics (attrition, engagement, hiring metrics) to guide leadership decisions.
- Identify capability gaps and provide strategic HR solutions to address them.

**Experience**
- 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years as an HRBP.
- Prior HR partnering experience in Product, Engineering, or Tech teams required.
- Experience supporting regional or multi-country teams in Southeast or East Asia preferred.

**Skills & Attributes**
- Strong understanding of product development cycles and tech team dynamics.
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate business needs into people actions.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a hands-on, execution-driven approach.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influence across senior levels.

**Languages**
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Proficiency in an additional APAC language (Mandarin, Japanese, Thai, Bahasa) is an advantage.

Pay: Up to RM13,000.00 per month
