A leading global organisation is seeking a Tech Product Analyst (Mandarin Speaking) to join their thriving IT Hub in Kuala Lumpur. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital HR and General Services solutions across Asia, Middle East, Africa, and China. You will be empowered to drive meaningful change by leveraging advanced technology, collaborating with diverse teams, and influencing strategic business decisions. The organisation is committed to nurturing talent and fostering a culture where your ideas are valued, your growth is supported, and your contributions make a real impact
What you'll do:
As a Tech Product Analyst (Mandarin Speaking), you will be instrumental in delivering end-to-end digital solutions for HR & General Services across local and global projects. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with stakeholders from various regions to gather requirements, translate business needs into actionable IT solutions, and ensure seamless implementation of new systems. You will champion process optimisation by analysing workflows, recommending enhancements, supporting training initiatives, and promoting best practices throughout the organisation. By building strong partnerships internally and externally, you will help drive standardisation efforts that improve efficiency while maintaining compliance with established policies. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin will enable you to bridge gaps between global teams, ensuring successful solution adoption at every level. This role offers you the chance to contribute meaningfully to strategic initiatives while growing your skills in a collaborative environment that values innovation, adaptability, and shared success.
- Drive the adoption of digital HR and General Services solutions by applying user-centric approaches aligned with both global and local roadmaps.
- Proactively engage with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver value through tailored HR technology solutions that support broader organisational objectives.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with leading HR technology providers and service vendors to bring external perspectives and best practices into the organisation.
- Deliver HR and General Services digital solutions and process improvements on time, within scope, and on budget while managing these solutions throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensure consistent application and integration of HR and General Services practices in alignment with compliance standards and policies across all business units.
- Promote HR and General Services strategies and tools across various channels and multiple business units to enhance awareness and adoption.
- Analyse job description workflows to optimise accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organisational goals within IT HR & GS functions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline job role definitions, eliminate redundancies, and implement consistent best practices.
- Identify gaps in operational processes, recommend improvements, and support training initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement in job design and documentation.
- Provide Level 1 support for system applications while enhancing communication between global and local business units to eliminate gaps.
What you bring:
To excel as a Tech Product Analyst (Mandarin Speaking), you will bring proven experience in delivering complex digital solutions within large-scale organisations. Your background should include hands-on involvement in project management-ideally utilising both Waterfall and Agile methodologies-and direct exposure to product team environments. You will have demonstrated success implementing HRIS platforms or related technologies across multiple locations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your ability to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds will be crucial for gathering requirements accurately and driving solution adoption. Technical proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors or similar systems will allow you to navigate intricate IT landscapes confidently. Fluency in English and Mandarin ensures seamless communication across borders. Your analytical approach enables you to identify process inefficiencies swiftly while your resilience helps you adapt gracefully amidst evolving priorities. Above all else, your collaborative spirit fosters an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels supported-making you an invaluable member of any team striving for operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information technology or an equivalent field of study is required for this position.
- Minimum five years' experience working within an IT organisation focused on front-end engagement with business users is essential for success.
- At least three years' experience managing IT projects using Waterfall or Agile methodologies is highly desirable; previous experience working within product teams would be advantageous.
- Proven track record implementing digital HR & General Services solutions such as HRIS platforms, payroll systems, employee engagement tools, benefits management software or legal/regulatory compliance frameworks is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including global/local IT teams, business units, vendors or service providers; skilled at defining user stories and prioritising product backlogs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to engage stakeholders across multinational organisations; able to maintain clear communication channels for successful solution adoption locally.
- Technical knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms is beneficial; familiarity with concepts like Single Sign-On (SSO), server infrastructure or high-level IT architecture would be an asset.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English as well as Mandarin is mandatory for effective cross-cultural communication within international teams.
- Analytical mindset combined with problem-solving abilities; motivated to learn new systems/platforms quickly while adapting proactively to changing environments.
- Resilience under pressure coupled with flexibility; able to anticipate challenges, display empathy towards colleagues' needs, share insights openly during collaborative sessions.
