Role Overview

As our Tech Lead, you will guide the backend engineering team in designing and building high-performance, scalable, and distributed systems. You will be responsible for leading technical decision-making, driving architecture design, and ensuring the delivery of robust, low-latency services that power our real-time entertainment products.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, passionate about quality engineering, and capable of growing and mentoring a backend team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of core engine modules and distributed backend services.
  • Architect and build scalable APIs (REST/gRPC) capable of supporting high-traffic environments.
  • Establish event-driven communication systems using technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Oversee integration with internal platform services (e.g., wallet, risk logic, real-time data services).
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and low-latency operations.
  • Own technical roadmap planning, code quality standards, and best engineering practices.
  • Mentor backend engineers and contribute to team growth and hiring.
  • Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in and Go, with solid hands-on backend engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis, or similar data technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment (AWS, Kubernetes).
  • Experience building or scaling high-concurrency, real-time transactional systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams, review designs, and make architectural decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a growth-oriented mindset.

  • Experience working with real-time data streaming or high-frequency event processing.
  • Prior exposure to system optimization and performance tuning at scale.
