**Job Overview**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated **Pastry & Bakery Intern** to join our kitchen team. This internship offers hands-on experience in preparing desserts, pastries, and baked goods in a professional hotel kitchen environment. You'll work closely with experienced chefs and gain valuable skills in food preparation, hygiene, and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts
- Support daily mise-en-place and kitchen setup for pastry and bakery operations
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry and bakery area
- Participate in inventory checks and stock rotation
- Assist in plating and decorating desserts for buffet or à la carte service
- Help ensure proper use and maintenance of bakery tools and kitchen equipment

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a culinary, hospitality, or pastry arts program (or recent graduate)
- Basic understanding of baking and pastry techniques
- Eagerness to learn and a strong passion for pastry and baking
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility with schedule (shift work, weekends, holidays)
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
