IT Asset Manager

Our client is seeking an EUS ALM Manager (Asset and Lifecycle Manager) responsible for the effective monitoring, management of hardware and software and services assets throughout the lifecycle. This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating an effective asset management strategy and leadership to the ALM team. This will include supporting Contracts with the Procurement teams, developing and managing Lifecycle Inventory management systems and processes, managing the End of Life and Disposal process and governance, and ensuring strong oversight on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for hardware and software assets. The individual will effectively implement these processes into the IT Asset management Systems assuring compliance for License Management and Compliance with vendors and governance teams.

**What to Expect**:

- Deep experience in IT Asset Management Hardware (HAM) and Software (SAM) processes and tools, including ITSM processes.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve the asset lifecycle management (ALM) process and operational effectiveness for Hardware and Software IT Assets across the organization.
- Implement Standards and Processes to measure and ensure quality operational effectiveness is maintained.
- Work with IT Architecture and Tooling teams to integrate into existing HAM & SAM tools, such as Service Now.
- Develop Governance and Engagement models with the various stakeholder and consumer of EUS Services.
- Implement Automation and Service Improvements programs to increase effectiveness and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement TCO Models to provide visibility and drive Cost Optimization programs to effectively manage TCO.
- Define and provide Vendor management and Engagement frameworks with key suppliers.

**What will make you successful?**
- 8-10 years’ experience in managing and delivering end to end IT Asset Management and Hardware & Software Asset Management
- Experienced in IT Service Management Processes (ITSM)
- Technology experience in ITSM platforms such as Service Now, ITSM, ITOM, HAM, and SAM
- Ability to manage teams and stakeholders to effectively manage TCO and provide effective governance on ALM domains.
- Ability to operate independently and manage teams.
- Experience in identifying and implementing Best Practices from ALM Forums and Communities
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Project management and process engineering skills and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communications, with experience of working with senior technology executives.
- Specialist Certifications in respective domains would be an advantage, such as HAM, SAM, Service Now, ITSM, ITIL
