**Synopsis**

In January 2025, Kuala Lumpur will host 1200-1500 of the brightest young mathematicians from 18 different countries, along with their parents and teachers, for the annual Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO). Over 4 days, these students will participate in an exam, enjoy tours around Kuala Lumpur, and attend a gala dinner and awards ceremony to celebrate the winners.

Most tasks will be managed online at your own flexible schedule, but some in-person duties in Kuala Lumpur will be required. You must be physically present on all event and post-event dates to assist with on-site coordination.

**Applicant Profile**
- Aged 18 years and above.
- Have full working rights for Malaysia residing within a close proximity to KL city.
- Effective leader who can manage a team.
- Able and willing to perform physical tasks.

**Work Hours**
- Nov 2024 - Jan 2025: Flexible 3-8 hours per week (excluding public holidays)
- 13 - 16 Jan 2025: 0900 - 1700h (Training Days)
- 17 - 20 Jan 2025: 0700 - 2300h (Event Days)
- 21 - 22 Jan 2025: 0900 - 1700h (Post-Event Days)

**Skills Required**:

- **Detail-Oriented**: Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to planning, organising, and executing tasks.
- **Time Management**: Demonstrates punctuality and the ability to adhere to scheduled times.
- **Task Management**: Manage tasks, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- **Mobility and Flexibility**: Willing to travel within Kuala Lumpur to ensure efficient completion of tasks and job responsibilities.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Able to lead teams and foster positive relationships with customers, effectively resolving disputes and collaborating with others.
- **Problem-Solving**: Remain composed and focused in high-pressure situations, facilitating clear decision-making and problem-solving.
- **Computer Proficiency**:Strong computer skills, particularly in utilising spreadsheets for data management.

**Job Scope**
- Liaise with overseas suppliers and delivery companies for the shipment of logistics to KL.
- Source for and liaise with suppliers in KL (e.g. Printing company, T-shirt vendors etc)
- Lead a team of logistics crew to setup event venues during event days.
- Collection of delivery at the storage facility in KL in preparation for the event.
- Packing and Storage of logistics item at the storage facility in KL.
- Shipping of Logistics Items from KL to overseas post-event.
