Inventory Analyst

We are looking for Inventory Analyst on behalf of our client, a multinational Oil & Gas company based in Cyberjaya, Selangor.

**Job Description: -**
- Support the MHI Philippines Stock Recording and Reconciliation activity
- Validating all incoming and outgoing movements and posting the relevant book to physical loss/gain for month end closure
- Operational Validate that all movement transactions which have physically taken place have been accurately and completely recorded in the system before stocks are reconciled.
- Validate if discrepancies exist, that they are being investigated and resolved on timely basis.
- Reconcile book vs physical stocks on regular basis, and on time for period end close.
- Obtain and validate the following: Third Party operated depots/Exchange locations/pipelines, daily throughput figures, Gain/loss figures as agreed with 3rd parties, physical stock information for period end stock reconciliation
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies with figures from 3rd party operated depots, including stock differences outside of tolerance.
- Post any final stock differences within allowed tolerance to the appropriate gain/loss accounts in accordance to the Manual of Authorities (MoA), in compliance with GSAP and SOx 404 guidelines.
- Prepares overview of losses & gains for approval.
- Be accountable in MHI Philippines portfolio and build an effective partnership with FIB, Functions and business stakeholders to drive accountabilities for process, issue resolution and improvements.
**Job Requirements: -**
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years working experience in inventory management / accounting.
- Fresh graduates with accounting background are welcome to apply.
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Possess basic accounting skills (can prepare P&L)
- Possess influencing skills and continuous improvement mindset
