About
About the team
Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
To eliminate any doubt, this role involves reading, viewing, listening and examining user-generated content to ensure they comply with community guidelines.
Content includes images, video, text related to every day life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, recruit & develop a team of labellers to maintain high standards & quality of work.
- Support and strengthen the team's understanding of the labelling policies and the work & project targets.
- Responsible for localizing work processes and strategies, managing various operation projects and providing the results in line with the expectations.
- Continuously evaluate outcomes, propose improvements, and ensure a high level of productivity and quality.
- Perform timely analysis on any issues, recommend action plans and ensure they are followed through and completed by the agreed timeline.
- Reasonably arrange manpower to ensure good coverage of open tasks and projects.
- Actively promote inclusion and ensure the whole team is equally and adequately supported.
- Provide guidance, coaching and development to support individual work interests and goals.
- Willing to work with sensitive contents including but not limited to vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience, advanced degree is preferred
- 3+ years experience working on content quality or safety in a major tech or media company; with a minimum of 1 year working experience in team management
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong attention to details and ability to work independently
- Possesses good interpersonal skills, demonstrates good judgment, training and coaching skills
- Good communication skills, high proficiency in English
